I read similar article also named fe Radio: Easy steps to financial planning |, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me

So true! I think we over-complicate our lives by running off into the future all the time, too! It's amazing how simple things are when we just look at what's immediately at hand.

Blessings,
Andrea

That's pretty profound. I'm sitting here now feeling just a little stunned at how counter-productive I've been in ignoring the little steps in favour of the railing over the slowness in making the big changes. One thing I've found that helps is to have a system for dealing with change, and even though I haven't been following along as well as I should, the LARK method that Shelley Anderson describes in Dealing with Divas is a good system for making sure that you're focusing on the right things. I'll definitely be doing better after this. Thanks for providing me with a much needed Aha! moment. :)

This is so in line with Buddhist way of thinking...the past is gone, live in the present, create your future.

It is amazing how often we lose sight of the fact that the small steps we take are actually helping us to realize our overall goals. I get so frustrated at times when I don't see immediate results or think that nothing lies over the horizon and I am just spinning my wheels. Articles and daily inspirations like this help to keep me on track and remain positive as I continue to march on.

This was a lovely little "reality check" in appreciation! We have so much more than we sometimes recognize and appreciate ... whatever we focus on expands, right?

Blessings,
Andrea

Great article!!! It's so true - some people rehash old trauma over and over and over, and it is still very much a part of their lives today. It always surprises me when people talk about negative events from their childhood or early adulthood as if they are still happening.

We can choose to let these events go - although I think sometimes they serve as convenient excuses for not living the life we truly want, don't they?

Blessings,
Andrea

Your words really hit home with me tonight. I've been trying to run away from myself for ages, it seems.

Another book you may want to check out is The Woman's Field Guide to Exceptional Living by Corrie Woods. It's written in a really warm style, and is filled with practical steps you can take right now. Reading it has really helped me to learn to like myself and to at least want to stop trying to run away.

Thanks for the great post. It's a wake up call I needed to hear.
