Together, the two of them created the world renowned Celebrate Your Life conference. One in Chicago and one in Scottsdale.
Prior to creating Mishka Productions, Liz was a professional actress and states that she did not set any conscious intention to create a business. She jokingly states “I was suppose to be an actress, but I guess the Universe had other plans”.
Keeping on track

“Is this the most productive use of your time?” — Unknown
This seems to be a common question for myself these days. With all the distractions that can happen around you, to keep yourself on track to your goals ask yourself, “Is this the most production use of your time?”. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not.
If you find yourself in a distractor activity that does not truly serve a purpose for your goals or well-being simply stop doing it and get on track again. This zig-zag pattern of being on and off your path is normal and you will find with “training” and time the line becomes straighter and straighter.
Bruce Lipton, author of The Biology of Belief on VividLife Radio
Tune in LIVE May 28th at 2 pm EST or listen to the archives anytime.
VividLife Radio co-host, Rose-Anne Kumpunen, interviews Bruce Lipton, author of The Biology of Belief. Dr. Bruce Lipton is an internationally recognized authority in bridging science and spirit. He has been a guest speaker on dozens of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national conferences.
Dr. Lipton began his scientific career as a cell biologist. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville before joining the Department of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Lipton’s research on muscular dystrophy, studies employing cloned human stem cells, focused upon the molecular mechanisms controlling cell behavior. An experimental tissue transplantation technique developed by Dr. Lipton and colleague Dr. Ed Schultz and published in the journal Science was subsequently employed as a novel form of human genetic engineering.
Dr. Lipton’s novel scientific approach transformed his personal life as well. His deepened understanding of cell biology highlighted the mechanisms by which the mind controls bodily functions, and implied the existence of an immortal spirit. He applied this science to his personal biology, and discovered that his physical well-being improved, and the quality and character of his daily life was greatly enhanced.

It just keeps on changing

“In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.”
— Eric Hoffer
This Super Law tells us that energy is always moving, transmuting and changing. It takes one form, then another, but it never stands still. Everything we see, hear, taste, touch or smell is in a constant state of change. In fact, this Super Law tells us that change is all there is.
People sometimes say, “Let’s wait until the dust settles after all this change before we do anything” or, “I just want this change to hurry up and be over so I can get back to normal!” They don’t understand that change itself is what’s normal!
Every cell in your body is replaced in less than a year. You aren’t even the same physical person you were a year ago. You can go back to your old house or your old town, but it won’t be the same, you won’t be the same and your relationship with it won’t be the same as it was. In fact, the whole world as we know it is gone the moment we know it!
What must you do to learn to embrace and leverage change? What are you hanging on to in your life and/or your business that no longer serves you?

See what is great!

“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!”
— Anne Frank
Whether it is a person, a house, a job, a country, you name it, I recommend that you see what is great. It is so easy to slip into the mode of seeing only the things that need improvement, or that are no good about each one.
There is usually one thing we could do to improve and work on. People are not perfect, houses need repairs, jobs have their up and down moments, countries go through trying times. However, I feel that it is so much better for us to focus on what is good already.
Doesn’t it make you feel better when you think about all the things that are already working out? And when you focus on all the good things, it increases that “happy” vibration and attracts more “happy” things to focus on. Yes, be aware of the other side too, but rejoice in what is already great.

Taking a deeper look

“You need to listen to your body because your body is listening to you.” — Phillip C. McGraw
I went to a reflexologist a while ago. What an amazing experience. And I was amazed at how my feet were able to say so much about me.
She would press in one spot and I would squirm. “Ah, this is your digestive track. Something you are eating is maybe not being tolerated that well.” OK. She caught me eating wheat, when I know my body works best without it.
Then another spot. “Hmmm. Maybe some anger issues here?” What? I thought I was done with my anger! Well, my foot says otherwise, so time to look deeper I guess.
The list went on and on. I was a little shocked I have to admit. But nothing that I could really say was completely off. Just stuff that I really thought I was good with now. But my body is doing its best to tell me otherwise. It’s good to keep looking deeper, cause you really never know what you will find. Since then, I have been working through these issues one by one… and my feet are thanking me for it.
Understanding your past, present, and future lives with Dr. Brian Weiss
Tune in LIVE to Dr. Brian Weiss on VividLife Radio May 25th at 2 pm EST / 11 am PST.
VividLife Radio host, Rose-Anne Kumpunen and her husband John discuss Past Life Regression Therapy with Dr. Brian Weiss.
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from “the space between lives,” which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss’s family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
Keep It Simple

“As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.”
— Henry David Thoreau
We all have goals, whether we formally write them down or we just have certain standards we want to live up to each day. And that is what it’s all about, right? Keep growing, keep learning with each new goal we tack on to our list.
But how easy are we making it for ourselves with these goals we keep adding on? Are they attainable goals? Are they even our goals (v.s. things others expect us to achieve and so we take on as ours)?
It’s good to review our goals every now and then to see where we are at with them. Some may already be ready to come off the list because we have accomplished them. Others, we may want to drop off because they are no longer relevant due to other life changes that have occurred along the way. And some should be scaled back - made simpler.
For example, if you decided at some point in your life that you should “love” everyone in your life, perhaps you have found that it is not as easy as you would like. Maybe “love” is too powerful a word at this stage. Scale it back a little to start with. Be “kind” to everyone in your life is simpler to accomplish. You don’t need to “love” someone to be kind to them. But kindness is an act of love. So you have just made your life easier and you are accomplishing your goals. And that is what counts.
