Real Life Radio’s host, Rose-Anne Kumpunen, had the opportunity to chat with Daniel Murphy about his fantastic new reality series, The Million Dollar Makeover Show. Tune in to get more information on how POWE has become a part of this great new way to give back to those in need.
Show Summary:
A crew, led by television’s cute, hot headed Million Dollar Decorator host and designer, Daniel Murphy and his beautiful, charming sidekick Kasia Bodurka finds deserving people, from the Durham community, facing unforeseen hardships, such as an ill, isolated senior on a fixed income, or a family whose sole provider was injured and lost their job. Are you starting to get the picture?
They are dubbed as the “Decorating Angels” who surprise selected individuals with a newly redecorated room and a personal makeover of their dreams. Watching this crew trying to meet their budgets, make their deadlines, while the recipient’s in makeover sessions creates endless drama and anticipation. If you enjoy watching real people’s dreams come true and believe in making a difference then this is definitely the show for you. I know Oprah would approve.

TRENTON — The Power of Women Exchange is growing! A new chapter is opening up in The Bay of Quinte area for women entrepreneurs, executives, and business professionals who are looking for a different way to grow their business. This dynamic new group will be meeting in the Bay of Quinte area every forth Tuesday with a unique formula of Power Luncheons that combine networking and educating to support and encourage building their businesses.
Newly appointed Chapter Director, Rose-Anne Kumpunen, currently is the VP and Creative Director of a marketing and communications company, and runs her own businesses and web sites related to food & health, and women’s issues.
“The upbeat energy and true desire to help each other both professionally and personally at our monthly Power Luncheon meetings is what makes POWE so contagiously successful. I am so excited to have the opportunity to expand this fantastic group out to my new home region in the Bay of Quinte.”
To launch the new chapter, the first official networking meeting will be on October 23rd, 2007 at the Holiday Inn, Trenton. Rose-Anne encourages women in business to come out and join POWE as a guest for this opening event. The day’s events will include informative member speakers, door prizes, showcase tables, and fun networking activities along with a buffet lunch.
