Our POWE Bay of Quinte team was 11 team members strong for June 20th Relay for Life in Belleville. It was a moving event for all that attended. Even my 10 year old daughter said that she was really happy to have been a part of it all.
We all came together to do a great job decorating our team RV. The team lap was full of butterfly headbands and batons made by two of our enthusiastic team mates. Several team members stayed up the whole night and walked the track.
Watching the sun rise over the relay track, we all felt good about our accomplishment and our contribution to this cause. Stay tuned for video clips of the day… and night… and day coming soon.
